Who provides the service?

AAP Collectables Ltd, company number 17047209, registered in England and Wales, at Solar House, 282 Chase Road, London, United Kingdom, N14 6NZ. Support: christofipeter67@gmail.com. These terms cover Card Lens; purchases from the AAP Collectables shop have their own shop terms.

What Card Lens does

Card Lens helps identify Pokémon cards from photos, compare reported UK sold results and current listings, and manage collection records. Recognition can be wrong. Verify the name, set, collector number, language, artwork and printing before confirming. A match is not authentication, condition grading or a guarantee of value. We are independent of Pokémon, eBay and other referenced brands.

Prices and subscriptions

Free includes 2 card scans and 2 sold-price reports per calendar month. Collector is £9.99/month with 100 of each; Collector Plus is £19.99/month with 300 of each; Vendor is £39.99/month with 1,000 of each and up to 3 workspace seats. Paid plans allow up to 10,000 cloud card records. The total charge is shown in pounds at checkout, including any applicable tax. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. There is no minimum commitment beyond the current monthly billing period.

Allowances and top-ups

A scan is counted when you confirm an exact catalogue identity: three cards are three scans. Failed recognition and retries are free. A newly generated sold-price report uses one report allowance; reopening the same cached result within its 12-hour window does not use another. Monthly allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC, independently of your billing date, and do not roll over. A £4.99 one-off top-up adds 100 scans and 100 sold reports. Top-ups do not expire, are used after the monthly allowance, and do not renew automatically. Workspace members share the owner’s allowance.

Plan changes and cancellation

Use Account → Manage billing & cancellation to change plans, update payment details or cancel renewal. Stripe shows any additional charge or credit before you confirm a plan change. Changing plans adjusts the allowance without resetting usage already consumed that month. Cancelling renewal keeps the current paid access until its displayed end date; thereafter the account returns to Free. Cloud records above a reduced plan’s limit are not automatically erased, but saving an oversized collection may be blocked; export a backup before downgrading.

Immediate access and refunds

Paid access starts after payment confirmation. Before checkout we ask you to request immediate access and accept these terms. Our refund policy provides a 14-day refund window for a new subscription or top-up purchase; using the service during that window does not remove that promise. Cancelling renewal in the billing portal is separate from requesting a refund. Statutory consumer rights continue to apply.

Market information

Sold results depend on the matching listings returned by the provider. An average may use fewer than five disclosed prices if five are unavailable. Accepted offers, condition, grading, language, lots and postage can affect comparisons. The 30-day sales count describes matching results in the checked sample, not every marketplace transaction. Current listings are asking prices and can change or disappear. Data is a guide, not a promise of a sale price or investment return.

Your account and records

Use your own sign-in and protect access to your device. You are responsible for checking entries and choosing who joins your workspace. Cloud saving is manual: local changes do not automatically appear on another device. Export backups regularly. Do not use the service to impersonate others, bypass allowances, attack the service or redistribute marketplace data in breach of source rights.

Availability and changes

Internet access is needed for catalogue lookups, cloud records, account features and prices. Cameras require browser permission and HTTPS. Some devices, sleeves, reflections, older printings and languages may scan poorly. We may temporarily suspend features to fix faults or prevent abuse. Material changes to paid prices or terms will be communicated before they apply, so you can decide whether to renew.

Problems and your rights

Contact support if paid features fail or information in your account is wrong. We will investigate and provide appropriate remedies where required. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your statutory rights. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; mandatory protections and court rights where a UK consumer lives still apply.
